Shipping Policy

At Pasto, our services are currently focused on helping restaurants manage orders digitally. This Shipping Policy explains how order fulfillment, pickup, and future delivery services work on our platform.

1. Current Phase: Self Order (No Shipping)

At present, Pasto operates in Self Order mode for restaurants.

Orders are created and managed internally by restaurants for walk-in customers.
No shipping or delivery is handled by Pasto during this phase.
Customers place orders physically at the restaurant.
Food is served as dine-in or self-pickup (takeaway) directly from the restaurant.

👉 In this phase, no logistics, shipping, or delivery charges apply through Pasto.

2. Self Pickup Responsibility

The restaurant is responsible for preparing the order.
The customer is responsible for collecting the order from the restaurant.
Pasto does not manage pickup timing, delays, or handover issues.

3. Future Delivery Services (Coming Soon)

Once delivery services are enabled on the platform:

Restaurants may choose to:

Offer self-delivery, or
Use third-party delivery partners (if integrated).

Delivery availability, charges, and minimum order values will be:

Defined by the restaurant
Clearly shown to customers before order placement

4. Delivery Time Estimates (Future)

Delivery time shown will be an estimate only.

Actual delivery time may vary due to:

Distance
Traffic
Weather conditions
Restaurant preparation time

Pasto will not guarantee exact delivery times.

5. Delivery Charges (Future)

Delivery charges (if applicable) will be:

Set by the restaurant, or
Based on distance and order value
Any free delivery conditions or minimum cart value will be clearly displayed.

6. Order Delays & Issues

In Self Order mode, all service issues are handled directly by the restaurant.

In future delivery mode:

Delays caused by restaurant preparation or delivery partners are outside Pasto's direct control.
Pasto acts only as a technology platform.

7. Service Area Limitations

Delivery (when live) will be available only within the restaurant's selected delivery range.
Orders outside the delivery radius may not be accepted.

8. Changes to Shipping Policy

This policy may be updated as new delivery features are launched.

Updates will be communicated via the app or website.
Continued use of the platform implies acceptance of the updated policy.
